About the Nursing Program

Our faculty and staff of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Nursing program welcome your interest in healthcare. The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ nursing curriculum employs a career mobility format that prepares students to practice nursing in a variety of healthcare settings.

High Employment Rate

Nursing offers mobility, flexibility, and numerous opportunities throughout the United States. The graduate of either program is provided with a sound basis for entry into practice at the appropriate level. Some examples of opportunities available in nursing are acute care hospitals, physician’s offices, clinics, long-term care settings, health departments, home health care agencies, and hospice care units.

How to Apply

After advisement and prerequisites are completed, apply to the Nursing program by completing the Nursing Application Packet linked below, or pick up a hard copy in the nursing office.

The application period for Fall 2025 is closed.

Approval and Accreditation Information

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ nursing program is approved by the New Mexico Board of Nursing.
